Georgia Capital Streamlines Reporting with Rabbet

Challenges
Georgia Capital relied on Excel to prepare reports required by their equity partners. Their partners requested specific templates for draw requests, but their current process wouldn’t scale with the increased amount of project reporting complexities. Rachel Hubbard, VP of Accounting, was searching for a solution that could take massive amounts of data to provide meaningful insights and meet the new requirements.
The development team’s existing software restricted their ability to manage complex projects and the draw process was completely manual. Georgia Capital’s requirements for a new software solution were twofold: offer accurate, fast reporting for the accounting team and streamline the draw process for the development team.
Goals
- Improve financial reporting with customizable dashboards
- Streamline the draw process
- Improve collaboration among accounting and development teams
Results
Rabbet’s automated draw management functionality allowed Georgia Capital to tailor draw templates to meet the specific reporting requirements of institutional investors. All of the data the accounting team needs to create reports is in the Rabbet platform, and tasks that previously were cumbersome and time-consuming are now done in just a few minutes. Additionally, the development team is no longer stuck fighting against the limitations of their previous software. Developers can easily access real-time information on their whole portfolio or zoom in to get visibility on a specific project. With streamlined processes on both sides of the business, accounting and development teams have benefited from increased collaboration and alignment.
