Product Updates: Enhanced Draw Comments and API Improvements

This month, we’re excited to roll out new product updates—introducing enhanced draw comments and improvements to our API.

Draw Comments

We're launching new enhancements to our draw communication feature that are designed to make collaboration even smoother and more transparent. 

• In addition to commenting on rules, draw budget line items, and draw documents, you can also add a general comment to the draw. 

• You can now choose to retain any comment. These retained comments will appear on the specific draw they were added to, and any future draws created. And when you no longer need them, you can easily stop retaining them.

• To streamline your experience, all comments will be visible in the table on the Draw Overview page. Just click on any comment in the table to see more details in a side panel.

API Updates

Rabbet has expanded its public API with new features that improve data access and integration across agreements, draws, funding sources and budgets. New API capabilities include:

• Enhanced the draw information that can be retrieved to include draw approval information, draw assessment questions, and responses.

• New external account ID field on Funding Sources to facilitate linking to an external account for reporting.

• The ability to update draw status, retrieve funding source and agreement data, create a project skeleton budget, and more.
